Help Casey Fight for Recovery and Support Her Family

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Hale and I am hoping to raise funds to support Casey Lepisto, as she is fighting for her life in critical condition, and her children, Riley and Griffin. On Thanksgiving, Casey was brought to the Emergency Room where they immediately started treating her for septic shock. After an emergency surgery, she continued to be in critical condition and has since been in sedation to try to allow her to recover. Currently, Casey is at a local, rural hospital but will hopefully be transferred to an ICU in a Boston hospital so she can have access to specialists and more extensive treatments to help her recover and be healthy again for her daughter, Riley.

Riley is my roommate and best friend. Riley currently attends Simmons University and is in her third year of nursing school. Her mom is fighting for her life and the last thing Riley and her family should be worrying about is how they will be able to afford hospital bills, mortgages, and Riley’s upcoming spring tuition bill. Riley and the Lepisto family are going through a great emotional process and change right now and my hope is that with your help, we can make the situation 1% easier.

Casey is one of the kindest and toughest people I know. She works in social work and puts others before herself daily. It’s time for her to get the same love and support that she puts out into the world.
