After one week at a new job, Casey was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery to treat a ruptured colon. What Dr's felt was Crohn's Disease ended up being an unusual form of colon cancer. Due to his limited time working at his new job, he does not qualify for health insurance and everything is out of pocket!
As single father, Casey will need help providing for his two beautiful children, Curtis & Sara, as well as helping cover medical costs for at least six months of chemotherapy that requires being in the hospital for several days every few weeks. He's also still recovering from his surgery that thankfully, found the cancer before it spread any further.
After the tragic loss of Sara's mother, we want to make sure that Casey is around to be with his family for years to come. Curtis and Sara also recently lost their grandfather to lung cancer, so the family is going through a lot right now.
