Help Carol rehabilitate after major surgery

Hello Family & Friends,

As you may or may not know, Carol was admitted into the hospital as the end of June due to severe nerve and cervical neck pain. She had major surgery on July 5th at Ocala Regional Medical Center to address the pain and weakness she had been experiencing for months. The surgery was a success, however the road to recovery has been challenging.

Carol has been at Bridgewater Rehab for the past (3) weeks, working with Physical and Occupational therapists to get her back on the path to independence. Unfortunately, this journey is not over – she needs more time to adjust to her current abilities and limitations and continue to develop skills to make her stronger. Her insurance has disclosed that they will not cover any additional in-patient rehabilitation – which has led us to reach out to loved ones that may be able to provide some financial assistance. In addition, she will need to move to a new 1st floor apartment (or to a building with an elevator) that is able to meet her accessibility needs.

In the efforts to support Carol, we are asking if you can donate to help continue the rehab she so greatly needs.

Carol has been humbled and greatly touched by the visits, gifts and messages of love from everyone.
