We are coming together to support our dear friend, coworker and beloved member of our community.

On December 31st Carol Rice was diagnosed with breast cancer. News that nobody is ever prepared to hear. Since the diagnosis she has remained hopeful and extremely positive. And then the day before her first chemo treatment the unthinkable happened. Part of their house caught on fire, completely destroying their home office and temporarily displacing them for the next 6 -10 months.

Carol has started chemotherapy and will continue treatments over the next 20 weeks. She meets each day with incredible grace, strength, faith, and an unwavering love for her family. Her resilience is inspiring, and even on the hardest days, she remains thoughtful, selfless, and full of light.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of the stress Carol and her family are facing—whether it goes toward medical expenses, daily necessities, or simply helping her feel more comfortable and supported as she focuses on healing. Carol has given so much love and care to her family, friends and this community. Now it’s our turn to surround her and her family with that same love.
