Hello everyone! I'm reaching out to you with a personal request as my beloved dog and best mate, Brix, faces a bit of a health hiccup. Recently, Brix tore his ACL ligament in his back left knee while playing with his usual high level of joy and enthusiasm. The vet has advised surgery as the best course of action to ensure he regains his mobility and lives a pain-free life. At just two years old, he's got a whole life ahead of him to recover and get back into his energetic habits.

With the help of my mother, Bonny, we are committed to providing the best care for Brix. We've taken on the responsibility of covering the costs of the surgery. However, as many of you may know, veterinary procedures can be expensive, and the financial burden is significant, amounting to $7,000. I'm reaching out for any support, regardless of the donation size, to help us get Brix the care he needs.

Brix is an American Bully/Pitbull Terrier mix, and unfortunately, this type of injury is quite common for these breeds. We've already conducted preliminary x-rays with our local vet surgeon and here in Ventura, and we have a surgery now scheduled for December 28th with an estimated 4-6 weeks of recovery time.
