Help Britt kick cancers ass!

This is Brittaney, she is a fiancé and mother of two beautiful little girls; a sister, daughter and friend to many. She is currently on leave from her job as a public servant with the province of BC unsure as to when she can return due to her illness.

She is one of the most selfless women I have ever met! She would give the shirt off her back or the last penny in her wallet to anyone if she thought it would help them. Now she needs help…what started with going in for treatment of cervical cancer last year has led to her now being isolated in a room alone going through radiation treatments for thyroid cancer that has spread to her lungs and liver.

Overall Canada has a good medical system…unless you have cancer and then you can expect a lot of expenses and debt! She has only just begun her treatments and has already incured nearly $10,000 in debt just for her treatments and medication alone. It’s one thing to be fighting this battle trying to stay alive but, to fight while worrying about the immense financial burden is something no one should ever have to go through. On average 628 Canadians are diagnosed with cancer DAILY! If you’re lucky enough to have not had this disease affect your life in any way you are truly blessed. I am hoping to be able to raise enough funds for my dear friend to at least cover the costs she’s incured thus far in hopes to be able to alleviate even a small portion of anxiety and stress from her family.
