My name is Betina and I have been an animal lover my whole life. I've had my own pets and helped rescues with fostering and donation.

One of my friends recently had a feral cat adopt him, thats how it is with cats, and he affectionatley is calling him Brisket. My friend loves to grill so its a fitting name.

Recently, Brisket developed a severe upper respiratory infection. My friend was able to catch him and get him the care needed but at his cost. He unfortunately wasn't prepared to take this on as this is not his cat, just a feral who likes hanging out with him, but he couldn't bare to see him suffering.

His vet bill initially was over $1000 but they were able to get it down to around $600. If you are able to help my friend and Brisket out he would be forever grateful.

He is not one to ask so I'm putting it out there for him. If we make over the amount owed the extra funds will go to Brisket getting fixed and anything over that will go to Hankslegacyfoundation.org to help them provide care for unwanted cats and dogs and find them forever homes.
