My mom is currently being detained by ICE, and our family is asking for help during an incredibly painful time. She has been here for more than 20 years, building her life, working hard, and taking care of her family. She is a loving and caring mother who has always put her family first. In all the years she has been here, she has never even received a traffic violation. It’s heartbreaking and, honestly, sickening to our family that she has been taken away from us and separated from the people who love her. We never imagined we would have to fight this hard just to have our mom back home. We are trying to raise $10,000 to help with her immigration and legal expenses, as well as rent and other essential household costs while she is detained.
