Around 3 AM on Monday, November 29, Bridget and Anthony experienced a fire in the home they had recently started renting. While fortunately everyone made it out safely, including their dog Piper, they face enormous costs in rebuilding following this emergency. We are working to provide the support needed to cover the costs of:
- Essential belongings (bed, clothing, etc.) following smoke damage throughout the entire home
- Food and toiletries while they are in temporary housing
- Bridget’s laptop, which burned in the fire, so she can access work and school
- Veterinary fees for Piper
- Cleaning, damage assessment, and biohazard removal fees that exceed Bridget and Anthony's renter’s insurance coverage
