On March 15th, 2019 Brian was diagnosed with stage 2 CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). Less than 2 and a half years later and Brian is now stage 4. Brian's dad Wayne passed away February 22nd, 2007 at the age of 53 after 20 plus years of the same disease. Kidney failure is the biggest issue but it causes a ripple effect in the rest of your body. Brian is exhausted everyday, back pain, kidney pain, massive diet restrictions, anemia. Brian was hospitalized in January for an altered mental state due to toxins that had built up in his system because his kidney can't filter out toxins and the list goes on. Doctors appointments are becoming more frequent, blood work has become weekly. We are looking at dialysis in less than a year. We have been told we may need secondary insurance to cover this and Brian and his wife Wendy can barely afford primary coverage that they do have. They have to make the space he will be having dialysis in clean and sterile, painted new flooring, up to standard water outlet and electrical. It has to be inspected and approved by the dialysis center. The current major hurdle is that Brian and Wendy will have to take classes at the Conway dialysis center after Brian's fistula heals, that will take a few months. These classes will be 3x a week for up to 2 months. Wendy & Brian will have to be there to learn the process until they know what they are doing so they can transition to doing it at home. This will greatly effect their income/ability to work on those days. Once approved to do home dialysis Brian's quality of life will improve greatly, he will feel better, be able to do what he loves with more energy and continue working full time until a transplant is possible. Wendy & Brian want what is best for their family and to not worry all the time about medical bills, losing their home and most of all losing him. Anything you can donate to help Wendy & Brian with future medical costs would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
