Bootsie is my beloved dog, and she means the world to me. Recently, Bootsie faced a life-threatening condition that required emergency surgery. The experience was terrifying, and I knew I had to do everything possible to give her the best chance at recovery. Unfortunately, the costs for her surgery and diagnosis have been overwhelming, and I am reaching out for help to cover these expenses.

Bootsie has always been a fighter. In her nearly five years of life, she has endured more than her fair share of medical emergencies. She has broken her leg and damaged her growth plates, which ended her show career before it even began. Despite these setbacks, Bootsie has remained resilient and loving, bringing joy to everyone she meets. Each procedure and surgery has taken a financial toll, but I have always done my best to make sure she gets the care she needs.

At about a year old, Bootsie, through the joys of tearing up one of her dog beds, ingested some of the material that got stuck in her tummy. Emergency surgery cleared that out for her, but then she had a reaction to the sutures and was back in surgery the very next day! Apparently she didn't learn her lesson because she tore up her new bed and this time got some material wrapped up in her intestines. So another emergency surgery for her. But she wasn't finished with her mission to send me to the poor house. Over the years she's had no fewer than four additional trips to the ER vet. In the last four weeks she's had two ER visits, the last one resulting in another expensive surgery, and an emergency trip to her local vet. These four excursions have added significantly to the already substantial amount I've spent on her healthcare crises.
