Bonnie, our 8-year-old dog, is more than just a pet—she’s a beloved member of our family. Today, she’s undergoing an expensive surgery that we simply couldn’t say no to. My wife and I are also facing hospital bills from the birth of our son in August, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. We don’t make a lot of money, but we always find a way to get by. Now, with these unexpected expenses, we’re scared about how we’ll manage in the months and years ahead as we raise our newborn son.

Bonnie means the world to us. We could have chosen the cheaper route and put her down, but that was never an option. She’s family, and we want our 5-month-old son to grow up with her by his side.
