Help Bob Hiltunen’s Medical costs

You know Bob Hiltunen, right?  He is a multi-insturmentalist, entertainer, teacher, amateur philosopher, my brother, and general man about town (among other things).  If you live in the Copper Country chances are you know him, or at least someone you know does.

Bob has always been a great guy and has always tried to give to the community that gives so much to him.  He’s been a friend to all, a teacher to some, and a contributor to the local music scene for years.  He’s been involved with various fund raising events and charities throughout the years too.  However, it is now Bob who is in need of help.

We are raising money to help with Bob’s
medical expenses.  Bob had open heart surgery on 12/10/17 to repair an aortic dissection. While he is expected to fully recover, he does have a long road to full health.  He will not be able to work for some time and will incur bills associated with the surgery and continuing care.  We are asking support from our local community, family, friends, and people out on the world wide interwebs so that he will have an easier path to recovery.  Any amount of support is very much appreciated.  Bob will be forever grateful.  He already is for all the support he has received.

As of right now we do not now the full extent of his medical costs.  We will update this page with any new details that we become aware of.  If you can contribute we thank you very much.  If you cannot please consider sharing this story.  We hope to see him out there again soon.  Doing what he loves best: making people happy.
