Help Benny Bounce Again

Hello lovely hoomans,

My name is Benny,

I'm only a youngster, just over a year old, but I've had quite a life in my short time on this earth.

A little while ago, my pawrents had to move back to Slovakia and couldn't take me with them, so they left me in the care of Ros at Mikas Mutts Dog Rescue, knowing she would care for me and do everything she can to find me a happy forever home.

I was very nervous when I first met Ros, but she soon discovered the happy, loving, and playful pup that I am underneath.

Ros found me a lovely foster home, but I would get very scared when my foster parent would go to work, so Ros would pay a doggy day sitter to keep me company so I wouldn't get scared.

She also noticed that I had a bit of a limp, so she took me to see the doggy Doctor.

The doggy doctor said I have luxating patellas in both back legs, cruciate ligament damage, and hip dysplasia.

I don't know what all that means. But I do know that it really hurts when I try to play with other dogs, and it's really hard for me to lay down and to get back up again. It makes me sad as I love to play and I feel like I'm far too young to be slowing down. I just want to zoom and play, but it hurts.

The doggy doctor said it will cost £7500 to make me better.

Ros and the doggy doctor decided it would be best to wait until I was settled in my forever home before I had the surgery, because I am such a scaredy cat.

Luckily, Ros found my new Mama, Sara.

I'm now happily settled in my new home with my Mama, my brother and my sister.

So now, I am ready for my surgery.

Ros at Mikas Mutts has agreed that she will cover the costs, as she doesn't want them to fall on my new adopted hoomans. Especially as they were kind enough to give me a happy forever home, even though I'm poorly and have separation anxiety, so I require a lot of care and attention.

My pain and mobility will only get worse if I don't get fixed soon, and I really miss being able to play.

Mikas Mutts is a small but very dedicated rescue. Ros does such a great job of caring for me and the other dogs in her care, but it's very expensive for her, and she can't do it alone.

Do you think you could help her to raise the money for my surgery?

Any amount will help, no matter how big or small.

I would be so grateful and happy to be able to zoom and play again, and I know my new family, and Ros would be very grateful, too.
