Help Ben Heal and Get Back Behind the Bar

If you’ve ever been to The Cove Brewery, chances are you’ve been greeted by Ben — one of the hardest-working, most loved members of our crew. From managing and bartending to fixing, building, and keeping the brewery running smoothly, Ben is truly the heartbeat of The Cove. He’s the guy who makes everyone feel welcome, keeps the place running, and is a favorite familiar face for our regulars.

A few days ago, while skateboarding near the brewery, Ben’s wheel caught on a road reflector, sending him flying. He dislocated his shoulder, broke his wrist, and chipped a tooth in the fall. The wrist injury — a severe scaphoid fracture — requires surgery to restore full mobility and prevent long-term damage. Without it, Ben risks losing strength and function in his hand.

The surgery costs $5,800, with half due upfront before he can be treated. He also needs dental repair work totaling $850 and will be out of work for at least nine weeks while he recovers — all while supporting his kids and keeping up with everyday life expenses.

Ben gives so much to The Cove and our community — now it’s our turn to give back. Every donation will go directly toward:

• His wrist surgery and recovery costs

• Dental repair expenses

• Living expenses to help support him and his children while he’s unable to work
