Hello everyone. My name is Baron.
It is with a very heavy and broken heart that I am on here and creating this GoFundMe. I am desperately trying to raise money to have my best friend of many years, Beaux, put down. About 2 months ago, I had to take him to the vet to get his left leg looked at. He had been limping on it for about 1.5 weeks at this time and just wasn't getting any better. In fact, the knot on his knee kept getting bigger. Well, they did an X-ray of his leg. Turns out, he didn't sprain it like I thought. He has full-blown bone cancer. The vet said that it has already spread to other parts of his body. As some of you may know, there is no cure for this. They offered some steroids to try and make him more comfortable. He has been back home now for a bit over a month. He has gotten extremely worse. I have made the decision that it is time to put him at rest. Due to my own health problems, there is absolutely no way I can afford to do this. Back in August of 2023, I had a heart attack. That experience changed my life. Just recently, on January 20th, I had another massive heart attack which almost killed me. I had 2 more clots that caused 100% blockage in the main artery, which is commonly known as "The Widow Maker"! Only with God's grace am I still here. They had to insert 2 more stents in my heart for a total of 5 now. Not being able to work as I used to since my first heart attack, I am on disability. As of now, I am literally just over $5,000 back on my rent. Thank the good Lord I have a landlord that is very understanding and willing to work with me. I'm not here for that. I'm here for my bud, Beaux. I am trying to raise $$$ to have him put to rest. It breaks my heart to have to ask for help, but I can't sit here and watch him suffer any longer. Beaux is a 200lb Great Pyrenees. He has brought so much joy and happiness not only to me, but to everyone who knows or has met him. So please, if anyone can find it in their heart to give just a little, my appreciation would be beyond words. Thank you to each and every one of you in advance. May God bless you all. The picture I added was taken about 3 years ago.
