Barney Natale is a dedicated and loyal father of five, grandfather, and husband. A bankruptcy attorney by trade, he has spent his life helping others in financial crisis get the support they need, now he needs your help!
In 2013 our Dad nearly lost his life. Multiple times. For the next few years he had significant ups and downs with his recovery, but he is a fighter. The doctors were amazed at his incredible comeback from two open heart surgeries, infections, dialysis treatment, a kidney transplant (a gift from his son, Peter). He was beginning to thrive again. Unfortunately, the medical debt accrued from his intensive stay, surgery, transport, and rehabilitation was another battle in itself that he continued to manage silently.
On Monday (March 1, 2021), we were blindsided when he was rushed to the hospital, put in the ICU and then diagnosed with another staph infection and Endocarditis (infection of the heart). This was sudden and not even expected by his doctors. He was then medically evacuated via airplane from Rockford, IL to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to endure yet another open heart surgery. He is currently being assessed and monitored by multiple different doctors. We are again unsure of how he will fair and anticipate significant financial issues as his continues to fight for his life.
