Hello, my name is Tim, and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a dear family friend in Nigeria whose newborn baby is facing a life-threatening heart condition.

Their baby boy, Mgbe-Etta, was born on August 1st, 2025, and has been diagnosed with pulmonary atresia with MAPCAs dependent pulmonary circulation, a large sub-aortic ventricular septal defect (VSD), a small atrial septal defect (ASD), and an overriding aorta.

This condition prevents blood from circulating normally through his lungs, and without urgent surgery, his life is at serious risk. The doctors at National Hospital Abuja have recommended an immediate CT pulmonary angiogram, cardiac catheterization, and surgical intervention in India where the necessary expertise and facilities are available.
