July 27th, 2017 Austin was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. Austin was taken to Bryan West as a trama one patient and was immediately taken in to surgery where he coded, he was given a 50% chance to keep his right leg. Austin was then put into a medical coma the next day so his body could start to heal. Austin was at Bryan West for 4 weeks and then transferred to Madonna for extensive therapy. Austin will need to learn how to walk again and has a long road ahead of him. Today was a big day and he walked for the for time in 9 weeks with help.
Austin has been out of work and has accrued lots of medical bills.
