Help Ashley Blay Recover from House Fire

Hi, I'm a parent at IPS George Julian School 57 in Indianapolis, where Ashley Blay is one of our dedicated Life Skills teachers. She not only teaches in the neighborhood, but she lives in the community as well.

Shortly after Ashley left for school on Monday, April 22nd, her house caught fire and tragically, she is left with nothing. She had just bought this house and had spent the weekend moving in. Devastatingly, Ashley lost her cat in the fire and is still looking for her sweet pup, Zola, assumed to have escaped. Not only has Ashley lost her beloved pets and all of her belongings, she has also lost a sense of security and stability. While we are working on getting her some very basic necessities, she will need some assistance moving forward. The funds raised will go toward rebuilding her life from the ground up, temporary housing, and the next steps to a permanent home again.
