Help Asher Represent USA at the World Tap Championship

Hi I'm Asher. I have been taking dance classes since I was 2 years old. I am 13 years old and now spend about 15 hours a week in ballet, tap, Jazz, Hip hop, ballroom, and lyrical classes. I really enjoy taking dance classes at my dance studio, dance conventions, and tap festivals. I recently had a blast performing in my first all-tap show!

Since young, I really connected with tap. When I was 5 years old I competed in my first tap trio, and at 8 years old, I competed my first tap solo.

Over the past 8 years of competing in tap, not only have I learned new skills from many incredible teachers, but my passion for tap and performing on stage has grown as well.

This year, I am so honored and excited to be selected as one of three 13-14 year-old male tap soloists to represent the United States of America at the International Dance Organizaton's World Tap championships in Prague, Czech Republic this October. I will also be competing in a junior formations group.

Over 20 countries competed at the IDO World Tap Championships in Germany last year. The World Tap Championships is considered the Olympics of tap .

I am asking for your support to help with expenses such as choreography fees, training fees, team USA uniform and attire, plane tickets, hotel and other expenses.
