Hemos creado este GoFundMe para Arturo Ángeles Peña, un padre inmigrante que fue detenido el día de hoy por ICE, justo después de dejar a uno de sus hijos en la escuela (por Stewart & Nellis).

Arturo es padre de 8 hijos, de los cuales 7 aún dependen de él y de su esposa. También es abuelo de dos pequeños que siempre lo esperan en casa. Hoy, toda la familia vive con miedo e incertidumbre ante la posibilidad de ser separados.

Además, uno de sus hijos fue diagnosticado con una condición cardíaca este pasado diciembre, lo cual ha hecho esta situación aún más difícil para la familia.

Arturo ha trabajado honesta y diligentemente, ha servido a nuestra comunidad y siempre ha apoyado a quien lo ha necesitado.

Este suceso ha sido un golpe devastador para su familia. Su esposa, quien trabaja como housekeeper en un casino, ahora enfrenta no solo el dolor emocional de esta separación, sino también el reto de cubrir las necesidades básicas del hogar y los gastos de representación legal.

Con esta campaña buscamos recaudar fondos para:

We have created this GoFundMe for Arturo Ángeles Peña, an immigrant father who was detained today by ICE shortly after dropping one of his children off at school (near Stewart & Nellis).

Arturo is the father of eight children, and seven of them still depend on him and his wife. He is also the grandfather of two young children who always wait for him at home. Today, the entire family is living with fear and uncertainty, worried they may be separated.

In addition, one of his children was diagnosed with a heart condition this past December, making this situation even more difficult for the family.

Arturo has worked honestly and diligently, served our community, and has always supported those in need.

This event has been devastating for his family. His wife, who works as a casino housekeeper, is now facing not only the emotional pain of this separation, but also the challenge of covering basic household needs and the cost of legal representation.
