I am starting this GoFundMe to support my sister Angela, who is facing financial hardship due to issues with a recent apartment rental as well as multiple medical issues.

My sister lived with our dad for years to help out due to his medical problems. A few months back, it came to a point she could move into her own place. After searching, she found an apartment, paid over $2,000 for the first month's rent and deposit as well as other moving expenses, and was excited for a fresh start. However, after moving in, issues arose, including persistent sewage flooding inside the apartment. Despite attempts to get the landlord to address these problems, they remained unresolved, leaving her in unsafe and uninhabitable conditions, and leaving her out of all that money!

Due to the severity of the situation, my sister was forced to find a new place to live, incurring unexpected expenses, such as moving costs, deposits, and initial rent payments, having to spend thousands more to move again. This unforeseen financial burden has left her struggling to make ends meet.

My sister is someone who works hard every day and helps others. Now, she needs support.

This fundraiser will help alleviate the financial strain. The funds raised will go toward covering moving costs, new deposits, and initial rent payments at her new home as well as medical supplies like the knee brace she is supposed to have and can't afford.
