Help Andi Fight Like A Girl

Donation protected
We are telling this story on behalf of our dear friend Andi Ruhl.  She is an amazing mother, artist, small business owner, friend, and member of the community.  In September, Andi was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer and has since had a double mastectomy.  She has a long road ahead with many rounds of radiation, and chemotherapy, followed by breast reconstruction surgery.  The day before Thanksgiving she was back in the hospital for emergency surgery due to complications from the mastectomy.

At the time of her diagnosis, Andi was already struggling, like many small business owners, to find creative ways to keep her pottery studio open during the challenges of COVID-19. Unfortunately medical bills and payments needed to keep her studio open have piled up.

Andi helps others and does not often ask for help but does need assistance in order to stay afloat financially with her medical necessities and to keep the studio open.  If you have ever met Andi,  heard about the volunteer work she does on her local library board, or have been to her pottery studio, you will know what a passionate person she is and how she is a positive influence to her community and those around her.  Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Other ways to help include visiting Thrown Elements Pottery  Studio (http://www.thrownelementspottery.com), checking out Andi's Caring Bridge Site (https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/potterygirl) to learn more about her story, and  supporting  small businesses, which is a cause near to Andi's heart.
