Help Amon Layth's Family Reunite and Thrive

My name is Amon Layth, as a child I survived the war in Iraq and was able to come to the USA as a refugee. I settled in Buffalo, NY and over the last 20 years I was able to help my many sisters escape war and come to the States. With the help of the United Nations my final sister and her husband and 3 children were granted refugee status and they are able to finally escape the war and danger in the Middle East and come to Buffalo!

I am so grateful and excited to have our family be reunited but it comes at a cost. My sister and her family have to leave everything behind and will arrive with the clothes on their backs and a suitcase each. They are literally starting from scratch but at least in America they will be safe, free, have the chance to prosper, and thrive not just survive.

I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of rent, as they will be living with me when they arrive but I have a 2 bedroom apartment with limited space, and the schools near me aren't the best. I would like them to be able to rent out an apartment with at least 3 bedrooms or even a full house in an area that has good schools where I know the children will have the greatest opportunity and be welcomed.

I would also like to utilize these funds to get them a car so they can have the best chance at securing a job.

The rest of the funds would be used to furnish their apartment.
