**Help Amber Reunite with Her Family in Their Time of Need**

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to you today to ask for your support for my dear friend, Amber. Amber lives in New Orleans and works full-time as a reading intervention assistant at a Charter school. Her income is barely enough to support her and her dog, but she loves what she does and is in school full-time to earn her B.A. in Global Education. Despite her financial struggles, she remains dedicated to her students and dreams of making a difference in the world through education.

Amber is originally from Philadelphia, PA, where her whole family lives. Recently, she has been hit with a series of heartbreaking events. Just a week ago, one of her six sisters passed away at the young age of 36. As you can imagine, this was devastating for Amber and her family. To make matters worse, her maternal grandfather is currently in the ICU after undergoing open heart surgery. He is experiencing complications, and Amber is overwhelmed with the fear that she might lose her last living grandparent so soon after losing her sister.

Amber's mother is beside herself with grief, having just watched one of her daughters take her last breath and now facing the possibility of losing her father. Amber, being the firstborn, is extremely close to her mother, who is struggling with anxiety and sorrow. Her mother's birthday is coming up soon, and Amber's siblings have planned a special surprise: they want Amber to fly to Philadelphia and knock on their mother’s door the morning of her birthday. They believe this will bring some much-needed comfort to their mother during this difficult time, and it would be a blessing for Amber as well.

However, Amber cannot afford the cost of a round-trip flight, a rental car, and the expenses for food and gas. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Your donations will go towards covering these costs so that Amber can be with her family, support her mother, and hopefully see her grandfather for what might be the last time.
