Help Alleviate a Teacher From Her Student Debt!

Hello! My name is Andrea Reyes, and I'm raising money to pay off my student loans! "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take," Michael Jordan once said, so here I am, taking a shot and reaching out to a village for support. I am an elementary school teacher with a bachelor's degree from DePaul University and a master's degree from Concordia University Chicago. Although I am hopeful that the U.S. Department of Education will implement the debt relief program and that the litigation will be resolved, I can't help but think about the high possibility that my student loans will become another financial responsibility to worry about. If debt relief is not granted, I will be required to repay over $35,000 in student loans. On a teacher's salary, paying for my living expenses is already a daily stressor; add in a student loan payment, and I'm barely keeping my head above water.
