Help Aida Complete Her Midwifery Journey

Aida has been a birth worker since 2015, and on the road to become a midwife since 2021. Two years into her midwifery program, Aida was

told she wouldn't be able to complete the clinical requirements in NYC.

Forced to make a decision whether to move out of state or drop out of school, Aida found an opportunity in a birth center in Austin, Texas. Her and her son left their home in Brooklyn and moved across the country. Since moving to Austin, she has worked hard to complete the midwifery program at Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery.

Her goal is to raise money to be able to finish the requirements, sit for the exam to become a Certified Professional Midwife, and get licensed in multiple states. Aida's passion is to educate and provide care to her community. Your support will truly change not only her and her son's life, but the many lives of expectant families.
