Inez* is a widowed mother of two who needs your help. She lost her husband and came to the US from Colombia in search of safety and opportunity for her family. Her son, who is in his twenties, was kidnapped by ICE on his way home from an appointment at a local clinic, leaving his family confused and terrified. It was only when Inez filed a missing person's report with the local police that she found out her son had been taken by ICE. He was immediately transported to New York, and then, just a few days ago, he was moved again to Mississippi. Inez is left to care for her elementary school age daughter alone, with limited funds, and the terror that she doesn't know when she'll be able to see her son or hear his voice again. With her son being transported so rapidly, finding a lawyer or even getting a court date has been challenging. But right now Inez and her young daughter need immediate help to pay her rent for next month.
