Help a small Village in Desperate need
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Nicole. My husband and I visited Siem Reap, Cambodia, this April, at the end of a few weeks travelling through Vietnam. We were hoping to make a small difference with personal donations to some people in need, but nothing could have prepared us for what we saw.
We were taken to a small, remote village of about 40 homes, fewer than 200 people living in heartbreaking poverty. No clean water, no electricity, no shoes, no access to healthcare, transportation, and next to no personal care items you and I take for granted every day, and living on less than one dollar per day— Yet the people were kind, humble, and resilient beyond words.
We had planned to give what we could — water filters, solar lights, nappies, sanitary supplies. But once we saw the need, we couldn’t stick to our budget. We knew we had to do more.
With your help, we want to provide:
More water filters so every home has clean water
More solar lights so every home has light for safety and study
Washable period underwear for women
Nappies for babies
Essential medications for individuals in need
Help with transportation so adults can get employment
Help improve their shelter
Seeds and tools to plant vegetables and grow self-sufficiency
Every dollar goes directly to these families. Every gift is a step toward dignity, safety, and hope.
If this moves your heart, please consider donating. Let’s show this beautiful village that the world has not forgotten them. Let’s be part of their story — one of resilience, renewal, and possibility.
Thank you for reading and caring.
With love and deep gratitude,
Nicole & Paul
