Help a Parent Overcome Debt for Their Daughter

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out with this gofundme as a last ditch attempt to avoid bankruptcy. From 2019-2022 I fought my heart out to gain custody of my daughter. I spent every last penny I had, depleted my savings, maxed out credit cards, took out loans, and everything else in between. Some $80,000 later, I won custody of my daughter, and for me, that was money well spent. Despite that, the bills, and the interest began to take its toll on me and my finances. I’ve struggled since to make headway against the mountain of debt, and until recently it was slow but steady progress. Then life happened. I got divorced from the woman I was married to, I started a medication that messed up my sleep cycle, and that in turn led to me falling asleep at work. I was demoted as a result. Between the mountain of debt, the loss of two incomes due to divorce, and the loss of my own pay I am now in a deficit every month and drowning. I can no longer pay my bills. I have tried everything, but with my credit tanked, and with all the circumstances I am out of options. It seems now that bankruptcy is the ONLY choice I have left. I am trying, pleading, with one last ditch effort, to climb out of that. I need to get this debt managed, but that first means I need to eliminate some of it so I can have some relief again. $20K is not the sum of my debt, but enough to pull me out of this spiral and make it manageable for the remaining $60K. Any help is greatly appreciated. It’s embarrassing to ask, as I’ve always been one to pay my bills and be responsible with my money. But these were special circumstances, and for my daughter I would do anything. I won custody, but now, I just want help putting this nightmare behind me. Thank you for your time.
