Barbara's Medical Need

Barbara has progressive MS.  She is confined to a bed or wheelchair.  She has to be lifted in & out of bed or the wheelchair by her husband because she can nolonger stand or transfer herself to another location alone without falling and seriously inuring herself.  This lift is the only one enables her care giver to safely, securely move her to and from the rooms and locations she needs to access.  Medicare will not cover this lift when she goes home from the nursing home she is currently in.  Her husband Rick is a Medically disabled Navy veteran of both surface and sub services & needs sugery on his back.  If he tries to lift her he stands a good chance of seriously enjuring himself.  Rick cannot work. Barbara is my wife's roommate in the same nursing home.  I am asking  everyone,  All veterans and whoever can aford to contribute towards this fund.  Also a special call for help from all men who know the answer to this little story  " There was a young man who had only just begun.  A willing worker and a widow's son.  He was raised on the level and died on the square.  Was buried in the hills, Only three knew where".
