Hi my name is Jehnet and I’m raising funds for a sister in need who is currently struggling to stay close to her children in Saudi Arabia. She is an Australian and so are her kids but under the local law the children cannot be returned to Australia due to their Saudi status and father’s wishes.

My Story: Seven Years Without Stability

For more than seven years, I have lived through immense difficulty — from being homeless to facing continuous instability across countries. During this time, I’ve done everything I can to stay connected to my children, who live in Saudi Arabia, but it has always been temporary.

I’ve traveled back and forth on tourist visas, often unsure where I’ll stay next, and always aching for the stability that every mother — and child — deserves.

Alhamdulillah, after much struggle and countless closed doors, an opportunity has finally presented itself. I now have a way to obtain residency in Saudi Arabia, which would mean:

• I can live permanently with my children

• I will no longer have to travel back and forth in uncertainty

• I can finally provide a stable home and life for myself and my children
