My husband and I have been seeing this car sitting in the parking lot running, and he kept saying someone was living in that car. The other day, we had a bad storm, and we saw a lady and 2 kids running to the car in the rain. Today, we were walking the dog and we walked past the car. It has a car shade in the window and a jacket over the other windows. There were some noodles sitting on the hood of the car. My husband was like, I want to help her, but how do I approach her? I don't want to scare her. I was like, I'll knock on the window. So, I went to the driver's side and tapped on the window, and I did scare her. She rolled down the window, and I told her that I didn't know what was going on, but I wanted to bless her. We gave her $100. She started crying and said thank you so much. I gave her my number and told her to call me if she needed anything. However, my husband and I came in, and it kept weighing on our hearts that they were sleeping in the car, so we paid for a night at the hotel. Now look how Yah works. The guy at the front desk was like, I have a room here for when I have to work overnight. They can have that room until they leave on Tuesday. (Which after talking to her, she was driving to TX to stay with a friend.) After speaking to the young lady, she and the kids have been staying in this car for over a month now, eating noodles which she heated up by the sun on the hood of the car. Moral of the story: Be thankful and grateful for everything. There is someone always worse off than you!
If you would like to donate to help this young lady and her children, you can cash app $1stladydavis. No amount is too small. Whatever your heart leads, we can help someone in need.
I would like to raise enough to get her back on her feet.
