Logan lives in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He is a 17 and a former student of Marriotts School and a much loved member of the Marriotts family. Before his Year 11 prom (aged just 16) he was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer and he sadly received a terminal prognosis.
For the last year Logan has been having aggressive treatment at Addenbrookes hospital. This treatment was initially working, but Logan’s body couldn’t cope with the intensity of the treatment anymore and he had to stop this and move onto a different less aggressive treatment. Tragically, Logan’s cancer has returned and metastasized and has spread to other places within his body. We are setting up this Go Fund Me Page to provide financial support for Logan’s family at this tough time. The travelling and other expenses that Logan’s treatment is incurring is putting huge amounts of stress on the family at an already difficult time. Logan’s family have the pressures of future expenses weighing heavily on them, as well as having to take so much time off to take care of Logan, all whilst dealing with so much emotionally. This is an incredibly difficult time for the whole family and a huge pressure for them all and so Logan’s friends, family and school have set up this page to try to offer help and support.
Nobody should have the worry of financial problems when the focus should be enjoying their time together.
Logan is a lovely, bright and bubbly boy who always has a beautiful big smile on his face and is always up for a laugh. Understandably this has hit him hard mentally and physically, and Logan is trying his best to cope with this devastating diagnosis. No 17-year-old should be faced with this difficult disease.
We are asking for your help for them to create as many lasting memories as possible. Please give generously.
