Crash, as he is affectionately being called, was hit by a car on the highway. He has 2 broken legs - the left rear leg is especially bad - and needs orthopedic surgery. I picked him up when I was driving home a few nights ago because I saw him lying on the shoulder of the highway. He couldn't walk, so I carried him to my car and incredibly, he didn't resist me at all - he was only calm, docile, and very sweet. I then drove him to the emergency vet clinic where he was treated overnight. Not knowing what to do next, I called my friend, who enlisted the help of the Animal Resource Center of Dayton. The ARC was kind enough to take him, however, they need help covering the cost of his surgery and rehabilitation. Please donate whatever you can to this sweet dog.
