A massive wildfire that is being called the Carr Fire began burning in Shasta County last Monday, and has devastated various regions within the county. On Thursday, the fire reached Redding, CA city limits, destroying over 800 structures to date and displacing many families and communities from their homes. Among those 800+ structures destroyed was my home.
The purpose of this campaign is to receive assistance in order to recover from losing my first home in the Carr Fire. I am reaching out to friends and family in order to receive help. Any amount donated helps. Funds from donations will be spent on basic needs such as clothing, increased food expense, temporary dwelling, support for time away from work, as well as finding and furnishing new permanent housing.
