Heather’s Cancer Relief

Heather is finally having her surgery! This September 10, Heather is undergoing major surgery to remove her uterus due to cancer. It’s been a crazy 19 months for Heather. As you probably already know, she was diagnosed during her divorce in 2016 and didn’t tell anyone for awhile, because she was optimistic that she would beat it early on and didn’t want anyone to worry.

She persisted through the recommended treatments, losing her insurance, chemo, losing her hair, and stayed busy working throughout most of it! She has finally stopped working, which was tough because she loves her job (working with children/young adults with developmental disabilities). She’s using what little bit of sick time she has but will be down for 6-8 weeks.

She will not be getting any kind of income past September 10, since her job does not have benefits— but she still has a car payment due and groceries to buy like the rest of us. Which is why we are here! Whatever donation you can make is amazing and helps! You can donate as little as a dollar!
