Healing Hope: Help Alisa beat cancer, again!

In August 2021, Alisa (Andrew) Alfonso was diagnosed with breast cancer. Not just one, but two different types of cancer, one in each breast. She spent nearly two years bravely battling and beating both cancers! It was a very difficult journey as she went through a double mastectomy that had complications, months of chemotherapy that destroyed her immune system, leaving her to get pneumonia and covid and spend days in the hospital, radiation and multiple reconstruction surgeries. Everything she went through, she did it with a strong faith, warrior spirit, grace, humor and an incredibly positive attitude. And she did all of this while still working full time! Alisa would not have gotten through these last few years without the love and support of her family and friends, especially her kids and her sister Gina.

In March 2024 Alisa received the devastating news that the triple-negative breast cancer had metastasized to her bones. This was the worst of the two cancers, to have come back. Alisa has a beautiful family and 3 amazing kids and she has a lot of living left to do! Alisa is a fighter and is going to battle this horrific disease again. She needs our help! Alisa will be starting cancer treatment again and will have overwhelming financial obligations and expenses. She will need to take a leave from her job, which will further complicate Alisa’s journey to get well. This fund is to provide support to Alisa and her family for medical expenses, housing during treatment and providing care for her.
