Together for Healing Support a Gaza Nurse and Team
Spende geschützt
I am a 25-year-old nurse from northern Gaza.
When the war on Gaza began, my family and I were injured in a bombing while walking down the street. In that tragic attack, my 3-year-old niece was killed.
We were forced to flee—first to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for 7 months, struggling every day with hunger, thirst, and unbearable living conditions.
Later, we were displaced again to Deir al-Balah, living in a tent surrounded by piles of garbage, insects, and awful smells.
After more than a year and a half of displacement, we returned to our home in northern Gaza—only to find it completely destroyed. No house, no shelter, no safe place to live. Everything was gone.
Despite my own injury, I never stopped helping others.
Since the beginning of the war, I have been volunteering in hospitals across the Gaza Strip, providing urgent medical care to those in desperate need:
Al-Shifa Hospital, Gaza City — Emergency support during the early days of the war
European Hospital, Rafah — Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Deir al-Balah — Pediatric Emergency Department
Arab Baptist Hospital, Gaza City — Currently volunteering in the General Surgery Department, working without a salary, driven purely by my commitment to save lives.
I am also a proud member of the Nesmat Shifa Medical Relief Team — a group of volunteer nurses who travel across Gaza's refugee camps, offering free medical care, psychological support, and essential treatments to displaced families.
We carry our mission on our shoulders despite limited resources, doing everything we can to bring healing and hope to those who have lost everything.
But now, I need your help.
Your donation will not only help me find safety, rebuild my life, and continue my mission of healing others outside the rubble of war — it will also help me and the Nesmat Shifa Team continue providing critical medical support and psychological care to the people of Gaza who need it most.
Even the smallest contribution can make a life-changing difference.
One step from you can mean hope, safety, and healing for many.
Thank you for supporting Gaza.
Thank you for supporting my life and the lives of those I care for.
Thank you for believing in humanity and compassion.
