Our Hurricane Harvey Story

Hello friends and family! Thank you all for being so kind and wanting to help our family out on this time of need during Hurricane Harvey! Our tiny home (we live in a 30 ft travel trailer) is in some of the worst devastation right outside of Dickenson, TX and is now UNLIVEABLE. We have lost about 75% of our belongings do to all the water damage. .. Our home has seen over 50 inches of rain, and this caused several feet of flooding to pour into our home and car. Unfortuantely, this was our reasoning for being forced to leave our home and be stuck in a hotel an hour inland with just a few bags of our belongings. In our hotel we have me, Jennie, Mike, Derek (3 year old son) and two dogs... we have food, diapers, water and each other right now... but, we can't deny that Mike being unable to work causes bills to beginning piling up. Getting back into a home is our main priority right now, and that is what all our expenses will go towards if you choose to help. (But, Just so everyone knows... We are not asking for anyone's money, but I can't deny that this is a large hit on our family, and any help we can get right now, is appreciated and will be utilized for our surivival until we can get a new home...) We have had several people reach out to us and want to help, so this is a way for us to get it instantly.
