Harper Madison Beechey

Hi, my name is Lucy and I'm fundraising for my sister (Laura) and brother in law (Conner) following the devastating loss of their baby girl earlier this year.

On Saturday 4th January, just two days before her due date, Laura was taken to the hospital with intense pains. Upon arrival at the hospital, Laura suffered a heavy haemorrhage due to a laceration on the placenta causing a build up of blood which then abrupted. She was rushed for an emergency c section and just minutes later, Harper was born sleeping. The medical team tried to revive her for 35 minutes but she couldn't be saved . Laura went into cardiac arrest due to blood loss and her heart stopped, they managed to revive her but they couldn't stop the bleeding so they had to carry out a hysterectomy. She was then sedated all night and had to wake up on Sunday morning to the heartbreaking news.

This loss has devastated our family and there are just no words to describe the horrific journey Laura and Conner are going through. Many people have reached out to ask if there's anything they can do, so I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for Harper's headstone.
