Harlow’s Holiday Campaign For Kids
From Harlow:
Hi my name is Harlow and I am 9 years old and I am in fourth grade.
I always have loved giving back. Last
month I was at the mall at the American Girl store with my mom and I said that I wanted to give presents to kids in
hospitals instead of getting presents for myself for Christmas. I want to do this is because I am very privileged and lucky
and some kids either don’t have much
money or are super sick or both. Just
because of that does not mean they
should not get gifts for their holiday. I
want to get America Girl dolls for the
girls and like LEGOs or art supplies for
the boys or get their Christmas list.
I hope that your holiday this year is
happy and their parents don’t have to
worry anymore about Christmas
presents and having to pay for medical
care.

A note from Harlow’s mom, Heather:
Hi all! Thank you so much for taking the
time to read this request from Harlow. I
told her I would gladly give her the
money, and tell relatives to do the same
but she wanted to make it a bigger
project and raise money. She also would
like to send a little bit of appreciation to her larger donors and is going to make a customized canvas painting (most likely
rainbows, positive words, and GLITTER, knowing her :) ) for any donations $150
and over. We would do it for all
donations but she is a very busy 9 year
old, a perfectionist, and I am personally
covering the costs of art supplies and
shipping, as well as Go Fund Me fees, and donating to her cause. COVID has been
tough on our family financially, as I’m
sure it has been on yours as well, so we
understand if you are unable to give at
this time. This is going to be an annual
tradition for her and she plans to make it into an ongoing charity and I have
already started speaking with partners.Mainly I am just a proud mom and want
to show her that
