Family lost home and wants to be self sufficient

Hi, my name is Ken, and I am wanting to help a hard working family with 3 children whose home fell down. They want to be self sufficient, but can't. However with a little help now, they can become self-sufficient for years to come.

Some of you have seen my numerous photos with immigrants and others, but this is the first time I am asking help. This family is hard working and could use the break.

The home they lived in is condemned and didn't protect them from the elements. The roof and walls fell down.

A church group will build walls and a roof after the family cleans out the debris and lay concrete floor. Time is of the essence because the USA church group will be there in early June. The family will have basic roof and walls, and will be able to add the other fixtures (bathrooms, etc) at a future time.

This family works hard, and lives in Tijuana, Mexico where salaries are between $600-900/month USD. The father delivers products to stores and the mother is raising money by making tortillas and tamales.

I wish everyone could have seen the mother recently as she cried for joy that her kids might have a dry place to stay out of the rain for the first time in their lives.

The funds will be used to remove the remaining debris, below surface, and concrete floor.

This might be a once in a life time opportunity to help this family.

If extra funds are raised, we will help the family purchase bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
