Hannah's chronic illness treatment and joblessness
Donation protected
I have experienced debilitating health issues since around 2011, including severe fatigue, PTSD, and numerous food sensitivities. December 2017, I was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) caused by mold exposure. My nurse practitioner started me on a modified Shoemaker Protocol. I've begun treatment and am seeing improvements. Progress has been slow and treatment has been incremental, particularly because of the ways that PTSD affects my access to treatments and the functioning of various body systems.
I also have pretty severe PTSD and am seeing an LPC and taking meds to try to stabilize that, which will also enable my body better to continue healing from CIRS.
Over the years, the funds from myself and my parents to cover my medical expenses have been depleted. I'm so thankful for the people who have contributed towards my diagnosis and treatment. I'm humbly requesting a little more help as I continue this journey towards healing. Click to donate via GoFundMe, or if you wish to donate via personal check, CashApp, or PayPal, let me know. I'm keeping careful track of every donation that comes in and everything I spend. If you want specific info related to that, I'm happy to share.
I've included two photos that list common symptoms of CIRS and mold illness. Over the years, I have had most of them.
I'm living in Mississippi. I'm mostly housebound. I'm married (as of April 2021) to a wonderful man who joyfully journeys with me--grieving with me, caring for me, and celebrating the value I bring to his life and the world. :)
Thanks for following along for the journey!
