My name is Daniel Rodriguez and like many I have been horrified to witness the devastation happening to the people of Gaza, and I have started this fundraiser to help my friend Hadeel, who is a woman, wife, and mother. Written below is her story through her own words,

“My name is Hadeel Mohammed Dabbash,

Together with my husband, Yaqoub, and our four year old daughter Masa,

We are in Gaza, specifically North Gaza, Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

I don't know how to tell you the story. We lived through a difficult ordeal. We were displaced more than 7 times, and each time, my daughter and I miraculously escaped death. We lived through the most difficult days of famine. Then the war came and I lost my home. The year the war came, I was going to complete my education at university, but the war came and I couldn't.

My husband lost his entire job, which was destroyed, and he lost his source of income. He used to work as a car painter. The place and the equipment he needed for the job were bombed.

Please help us.”
