Support Financial Time of Need

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with a humble heart that I come to you in a time of need. Though not public knowledge, initially, about a month after a close friend’s passing and taking some time off for bereavement, I lost my job. It was a gut-punching blow and one that I was not prepared to encounter from a company that I thought was supporting me as I was grieving.

For the past two months, I have been struggling financially, mentally and physically as I try to make ends meet, but now it has hit an all-time low. I’ve essentially run out of resources and options, which is why I’m asking for help. Unemployment services have been holding off and, to be quite honest, I’m scared because I am running out of income to take care of my basic needs. I tried to “fake it til I make it,” but I can’t fake it anymore- I need help.

So, if you have the capacity to lend anything—would you please? Whether it’s $20 or $1—something will undoubtedly be better than nothing, at least until I land another job or benefits finally start to come through.
