Joe Harn is a husband, local business owner, and dad of six children. He and his family have touched so many lives in the community, both personally and professionally. Right before Christmas, he went to the ER before work for flu-like symptoms. He was told that day he has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has since learned it is stage 4, and in several locations throughout his body, including organs and bone. This is a devastating diagnosis for his family. Joe and his wife, Jessica, have 6 children in their home, ages 4 to 17.

A year ago, Joe left his job and took a leap of faith to start his own grading company along with his wife. Although they have had success, that decision came with no health insurance coverage. Joe is facing a rigorous plan of chemo treatment, scans, tests, biopsies, and doctor visits that are adding up very quickly, and he’s just begun treatment. Because their business is the sole income of the household and requires both Joe and Jessica to operate, they are facing a scary and unknown future for their six children.
