Grandma is 95 Let's Keep Her Cheery and Warm

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get everyone to pitch in collectively and purchase Grandma a hot-water heater. As you know, our lovely matron is 95 and lives on her terms. Where she lives is a beautiful wonderland, and if you watch the national news, you also know that lake-effect snow in Buffalo isn't a joke; it comes in FEET, not inches. She also has gotten to a point in her life where she regifts half of the things she receives because she says, "It's just stuff." Instead of sending her a box of chocolates in the mail, cute holiday decor, and paying for the shipping, etc., let's get her something she desperately needs. All the Aunts and Uncles have agreed to contribute, and I know if everyone gives even $25 or whatever you feel comfortable with, we can reach this goal. Grandma won't know how much each person gives, and everyone who contributes will get equal credit. Funds raised will be sent to Jenine Stienbar, who lives nearby Grandma and will assist in the purchase in Springville.
