Grace Taylor's Hospital Stay

Hello, My name is Megan Albrecht, and I am organizing this fundraiser for the Taylor family.

Cincinnati Children's is no stranger to the Taylor family. Grace Giuliana was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia before birth. They knew there was a possibility she could have 22q/DiGeorge Syndrome but chose to wait for testing until she was born. When she was born, her cardiac team discovered she had TOF/PA with MAPCAs, making her heart disease one of the most severe/complicated conditions. Grace was also diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome. At ten days old, Grace was transferred from the NICU at her birth hospital to Cincinnati Children’s. She was diagnosed with a complete DiGeorge anomaly, meaning she has no immune system/no thymus.

Grace is currently inpatient and has been for the past six weeks with no sight of going home. Tolerating her nutrition has been a significant issue as she fights back against this virus. Dennis and Lexi also have an 11-month-old son, Adrián. Between the gas prices, making sure Adrián is taken care of, being present for Grace in the hospital, and much more, money should be the last thing this family thinks about.
